SYNOPSIS:  Love God's Will is an inspirational true story about finding hope and meaning in the face of intense obstacles and trials. After graduating from Texas A&M as a petroleum engineer with a promising career ahead of him, the handsome and popular Ryan Stawaisz fell ill with cancer. He survived the disease only to feel called by God to change his life's path and enter the priesthood. Ryan joined the seminary, but just weeks before his ordination, Ryan was re-diagnosed with cancer. This devastating news, which would have crushed the spirit and faith of most people, became a challenge for Fr. Ryan—and ultimately, a deep desire—not just to do God's will, but to love God's will.

A Note from the Filmmakers

It's an exciting time as we approach the official release of Love God's Will in theaters across the country and then hopefully around the world! Palomita Films has partnered with Sole Dei Gloria Releasing and Believe Entertainment to coordinate bringing Love God’s Will to the widest possible audience. We have the opportunity to show the film in theaters through the box office for multiple showings per day.

Because the film centers around Fr. Ryan's surrender through his suffering and his Good Friday homily, our hope is to launch the film this coming Lent. The distribution team needs funding to make all this happen. They are aiming for about 50 theaters in cities across the country that have shown interest in the film. This will take at least $50,000. Whatever funding we raise we will use to bring the film to as many theaters as possible.

During the production of this film, we launched a different crowdfund that allowed us to get additional interviews and footage we needed to complete the film. We were inspired by the generosity of our community. Despite many setbacks in our attempt to produce and share this film, many people have come forward to encourage and support us. We see it as confirmation that Fr. Ryan's story will bring many vocations and touch many hearts.

This film is inspiring people to learn to "love God's will" in their lives just like Fr. Ryan did. Donate now to help us share this message.
